- The services of our staff are available and ready to serve 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- A licensed funeral director and assistant transfer the deceased from the place of death to the funeral home (local).
- A registered and licensed funeral director will consult with the family and arrange the funeral according to the family's wishes.
- Office staff obtains the signature of the attending physician, coroner or medical examiner on the required certificate and file the certificate with the registrar of vital statistics where the death occurred.
- Procuring the burial permit and filing with the cemetery.
- Obtaining certified copies of the death certificate as necessary.
- Making necessary arrangements with clergy, church and cemetery officials.
- Composing and submitting newspaper notices (local and non) and placing the notice on the local radio station (if applicable).
- Ordering and scheduling the delivery of the burial vault.
- Compliance with the government regulations such as Federal Trade Commission, New York State Department of Health, OSHA, ADA and others.
- Public address system available for use by the clergy.
- Death notification and assistance in obtaining Social Security benefits, when eligible.
- Assistance in obtaining Veterans Administration benefits, when eligible.
- Securing American Flag for a Veteran.
- Clerical and secretarial staff services.
- Accounting staff services.
- Assistance in securing life insurance benefits.
- We are licensed by ASCAP, BMIA and SISAC to provide you with appropriate background music during visitation and funeral service.
- We provide a state-of-the-art sound system and maintain a library of religious selections for the service. We also have the ability to play your personal tapes and CDs in order to honor special requests.
- After the funeral, we will deliver flowers to local nursing homes, etc. (Some do not accept funeral flowers).
